Hey everyone, just wanted to say hi since I'm new here! I've been a member of this community for about five years but never posted an introduction until now because I was always too shy and didn't know what to write, which is funny because my uncle u

Welcome to the group!! So funny about your uncle's speeches — my dad did basically the same thing with my cousin and always insisted he was going to be a professional auctioneer which is hilarious bec...

How do you choose your first car? That is such an important question because it shapes so much of who we become in our early twenties, which reminds me of when my dad took me to see a rusty Civic and I was convinced it would be mine forever but then

Why are restaurants removing booths? Everyone sat at tables fine and now we all have to sit on

This is such a specific grievance but I feel it in my marrow because there was this one place -- you know the type, a diner that has been there since before we were born with those long upholstered bo...

Finally got my Stardew mod list running -- has anyone tried the Wilderness Remake?

Yeah I ran it with SMAPI 4.5 and a couple of dependencies you should check before you add too many -- basically Wilderness Remake needs to be loaded below any other texture mods or they fight over spr...

New here! / Anyone else modding Skyrim right now?

Yo I'm deep in it too — currently working through about 200 mods and the SKSE load order is a nightmare but worth it once you get that weather overhaul running with the texture packs because god somet...

Pizza delivery apps getting too expensive

I mean yeah I get it but honestly pizza apps have always been marked up — that's just how restaurants operate on third-party platforms because they lose 20-30% off every order and then you factor in d...

Has anyone else found that their cat is secretly judging them? I was sitting on the couch yesterday watching this documentary about deep-sea hydrothermal vents — absolutely fascinating stuff, those ecosystems thrive at temperatures that would cook mo

Hi from Toronto - let me tell you about this time I went to a concert and lost my phone in the crowd — it was the best night of my life because everyone helped find it which shows that people are actually decent despite what the news says, anyway who

Hi from Portland — freelance designer here. Looking to connect with other creatives.

Hey, I'm also in Portland and would love to chat about design — I work out of a co-working space downtown and always have extra coffee if someone wants to grab a drink sometime! The creative community...

Is anyone else addicted to hot sauce? I just finished an entire bottle of Scorpion Wasp and my face was literally on fire — worth it though. What's your go-to brand right now?

Scorpion Wasp is legit, but if you want actual heat I keep a bottle of Mad Dog 357 under my desk for when things get serious — it's like drinking liquid fire and honestly kind of cathartic after a lon...

New to the community, here's my story! I joined this group because everyone keeps talking about productivity hacks and time management systems and honestly it feels like a cult of hyper-efficiency where you have to wake up at four in the morning and

I felt this in my bones because I went down the productivity rabbit hole too and spent three weeks building a color-coded Notion dashboard for tracking habits that I never actually tracked -- just org...
