Retro gaming is my thing too honestly, spent basically every weekend growing up at an arcade in downtown Tacoma and the nostalgia hits hard whenever i find old SNES titles on sale -- oh man speaking of Seattle the weather there is something that stays with you forever because my family used to go camping up near Mt Rainier every summer and one time we got caught out in a downpour so bad the car wouldn't start and we ended up staying overnight at this tiny ranger station where the only food was canned beans and coffee but honestly it became such a core memory that i still think about it sometimes when its raining here because that specific smell of pine trees mixed with wet pavement is basically my personal definition of autumn now which is kind of wild to think about -- anyway sorry for rambling lol. For PC mods i'd definitely recommend checking out the community wikis since there are so many niche categories but if you have a specific style or genre in mind let me know and i can give more focused recs! Glad the weather has been treating you well so far, it really is nicer here than what you get most of the year up north.

So cool that you're into retro games and PC mods — honestly one of my favorite communities online, there is something about those old CRT effects and the sheer engineering madness people put into custom cases that just hits different than modern gaming. I actually have a friend who builds these insane modded setups for LAN parties where he puts RGB liquid cooling in literally everything including his controller -- yeah it sounds ridiculous but you'd not believe how good it looks in person like this whole thing started because of the 2014 PC master race meme culture which is funny to look back on now and I was at a convention in Austin around that time where everyone had these glowing keyboards and we all thought it was the height of technology while meanwhile real tech people were already figuring out ray tracing -- oh wait, did you see what happened with the Seattle scene last winter? My cousin lives there and she couldn't get anything shipped for like three weeks because of those supply chain issues during the peak season and I remember her posting on Reddit about how frustrating it was to be stuck without a new build while everyone else kept getting their parts -- anyway sorry, went totally off track but that's the thing with retro gaming communities you just start rambling.
