help i dont understand anything?

hi im so sorry this is my first time on here and everything looks scary what do you guys actually do here and how does this work and am i allowed to ask questions about basics or should i just lurk forever because honestly i have no idea where to start

tbh that's fair — modding can be wild when you don't know where to start. I spent like a week just trying to figure out how to install one thing and ended up breaking my whole game lol. The trick is usually finding a discord or wiki specific to the game, not searching random tutorials.
