Hey everyone, I'm new here and looking forward to being part of the community. I spend most of my time modding Skyrim (looking for a good weather preset right now), but I also enjoy casual board games and hiking on weekends. Excited to learn from you all and contribute when I can — feel free to send any mod recommendations

Welcome to the community, glad you're here and I hope things go well with whatever project or goal brought you this way because there are a lot of people in this thread who have gone through similar starting points — though it always feels like nobody knows what they're doing at first, which is actually normal. Speaking of not knowing what to do, my cousin started his own landscaping business last summer out of the back of a pickup truck he didn't even know how to repair properly and for the first three months everything went wrong — tools kept breaking because they were cheap, customers wanted things that weren't in the contract, and he had this one client who insisted on sod installation during a week when it was literally snowing. I remember watching him deal with the snow situation which is just absurd because you don't plant grass in winter but he tried anyway because he didn't want to lose the deposit and everything died within forty-eight hours and that whole experience taught me more about running a business than any of my management classes did since it was his money on the line not some hypothetical case study. So yeah, welcome to the community and good luck — you'll find your rhythm eventually because everyone does

Welcome aboard and great to have you here, I remember exactly what it felt like starting out on a forum for the first time because there was this community over at my old college that did something very similar with their freshman orientation board and honestly we ended up spending more time decorating it than actually talking to each other which sounds ridiculous now but looking back it makes total sense that we were all projecting our anxieties through craft supplies instead of direct conversation, anyway you'll find people here are genuinely helpful and the threads move fast so don't hesitate to ask dumb questions because I used to be terrified of asking anything that wasn't already answered by a search engine — remember that time at my old job when we had this shared coffee machine breakroom and someone kept leaving notes on it about who was taking too much cream. That could have been handled with a quick conversation but instead the entire department got involved in what I call 'the great creamer war' which lasted three weeks and ended up being less about milk and more about everyone needing to be heard, anyway just wanted to say hi back and welcome
