newbie help pls!!!

hey welcome to the community and good luck with your new setup!! i'm happy to answer any questions you have but first let me just say that this is honestly a really nice thread because people don't ask for help enough these days everyone tries to figure it out themselves and then gets frustrated and gives up which is such a shame in my experience -- remember when I tried building my first pc back in 2016? i bought everything off amazon at 3 am because i was convinced that buying the parts separately would save me like eighty dollars but what actually happened was i ordered a motherboard with the wrong socket type and had to return it and then realized i'd also forgotten to get thermal paste and went back out for more and ended up spending fifty bucks on a tube of paste i barely used -- my roommate laughed at me for about three hours straight which i didn't appreciate but looking back that was probably one of the most fun weekends ive ever had honestly because there were no consequences other than being slightly embarrassed in front of someone who paid rent to live with me and also we ordered pizza and watched movies all night so really it wasnt bad at all -- anyway yeah welcome!! ask whatever questions you have about your build and i'll try my best to help out
