the layout is honestly kind of bad, it takes forever to find anything useful.
lol welcome to internet chaos. it gets easier once you stop trying to figure out everything in one go and just start clicking around until things make sense. i still don't understand half of this place tbh
oh yeah it looks confusing at first but honestly you'll get used to it — just click around a bit and see what happens, most of the useful stuff is buried under layers of menus that nobody bothered to organize properly which is typical for sites built by engineers who think everyone else reads like them. actually this reminds me of my old boss Dave who tried to build an internal wiki and called it 'the knowledge base' but no one ever used it because he organized everything by his own mental filing system instead of what people would actually search for, which is basically the same problem here — they designed it the way their brains work not how users navigate. I remember sitting in a meeting once where Dave spent twenty minutes trying to explain that the 'documents' folder was where everyone should go but nobody could find any documents because he had nested them fourteen folders deep and named some of them things like 'stuff for later' or 'draft 1 final revised.' It took us three years to reorganize it and even then half the stuff got lost in the migration. So yeah you just have to develop your own shortcuts over time, I memorized which buttons actually do anything useful after about a week of banging my head against the interface, and eventually the weird navigation becomes muscle memory and you don't even notice it anymore.
