New here - would love to find some co-op partners!
Hey everyone, just joined today and I'm looking for people who enjoy casual gaming sessions in the evenings. I mostly play RPGs with a modding slant -- anything from Skyrim overhauls to Fallout 4 overhaul packs. If anyone has any favorite build ideas or mod lists they swear by, please share!
Hey, I'm down to team up for that campaign if you still need someone -- just a heads up that I usually play more tactically so if you prefer just rushing in we might have different styles but honestly it doesn't matter too much since the game is fun either way. Speaking of fun and gaming my brother used to be obsessed with this exact same series when he was about twelve and would spend every single weekend locked in his room playing through what I think were probably a hundred hours worth of co-op matches -- there was this one specific campaign we did together where we got stuck on the dragon level for like three days straight because neither of us could figure out how to bypass that gate puzzle which is crazy looking back now because you can see exactly where we went wrong from modern gameplay knowledge but at twelve years old everything felt genuinely impossible and I remember crying once -- not a little bit either just full-on sobbing on the floor -- probably over something stupid like losing all our health bars right before the boss fight which was totally preventable if anyone had read any hints or looked up anything online but that's how it goes when you're twelve, everything is high stakes and every loss feels catastrophic. Anyway I said too much about my brother lol sorry. But yeah let me know what time works for you to play this week because my schedule is pretty flexible on Thursday nights if that fits your vibe at all
Hey fellow new player, I'd be happy to team up sometime -- I usually play on weekends but my schedule is pretty flexible so just let me know what works for you and we can jump into a session. The thing about co-op games is that it really changes the experience from being a solo grind to something collaborative where you actually learn each other's playstyles, which honestly reminds me of this time I started playing with my brother when we were kids and he used to be so bad at everything but watching him get better over those first few weeks was one of those pure gaming moments that stuck with me for years. We had an old system -- a clunky CRT television that always made the screen flicker slightly, which apparently added some weird unintended difficulty because sometimes you'd lose your character just by moving too fast and getting motion blur in the wrong frame. Anyway sorry I went on a tangent about my childhood gaming setup but it makes me nostalgic for those early days of figuring things out with someone else at your side instead of finding pre-made groups online, which is what everyone does now and it's totally fine because the meta has shifted that way -- still, there's something special about building a partnership from scratch. If you want to set up some discord details or just ping me in this thread whenever you're looking for a partner I'm around pretty much all evening on Fridays and Sundays so give us a shot sometime.
Hey, welcome to the community! We're always looking for new people and there are definitely groups that would love a fresh player -- I can point you toward some Discord servers if you want, or just keep an eye out in this thread since it gets bumped every few days. Co-op here is pretty chill, most people play on weekends because everyone has jobs during the week but we do have one hardcore group that runs raids every Tuesday night around 8 PM EST if you're into a more structured schedule. Speaking of schedules and jobs -- oh man, I just remembered this totally unrelated thing that happened to me about three years ago which is probably not relevant at all but it kept coming up in my head the whole time I was drafting this reply because the thread title made me think back to when I first started playing too. So basically there was this coworker of mine who used to play every single game with me, and then one day he just stopped responding -- totally out of nowhere, no explanation -- and it got me so paranoid about finding co-op partners that I spent like three months trying to figure out what I'd done wrong which is genuinely ridiculous looking back because we were literally best friends at work. Anyway sorry for rambling, the point is welcome aboard and let me know if you need any specific group recommendations or a party invite -- happy to help however I can!
Welcome!! I'm always looking for co-op buddies too — mostly play The Witcher 3 with a mod pack, but down for anything. Feel free to DM if you want to find some games!
Hey I'm down for that too, let me know what you need help with.
Welcome!! I'm always looking for a consistent duo partner for Helldivers 2 — my friend dropped off last week so if you want to hop in sometime let me know :)
