Opening thread commentary.

Welcome! Always glad to see another Skyrim modder join us — those load orders are a rabbit hole you never really escape, but honestly it's part of the charm and I completely agree about that community vibe because there was this time back in college when my roommate and I spent an entire weekend trying to get 150 mods running at once and we ended up not sleeping for like thirty-six hours straight just troubleshooting ENB lighting issues which is ridiculous looking back but it felt so important at the time and he's actually a software engineer now who works in cloud infrastructure which is wild because he used to be this guy who couldn't get his computer to boot properly. Anyway, if you're doing an Elder Scrolls playthrough I highly recommend checking out Wabbajack for mod management — it saves hours of manual work and the community support around it has been fantastic lately and there are some new lighting overhaul mods that make Skyrim look like a modern release while keeping the original feel intact which is exactly what I was looking for last winter when I decided to start a completely fresh save file.
