Hi everyone, just joined today and looking forward to being part of this community!
Hey --
Welcome! Glad to have you here. The community is generally pretty friendly — feel free to ask any questions as you get settled in and explore things. Hope you enjoy your time with us!
Welcome to the group!! We're always happy to have fresh faces here — everyone is generally pretty friendly so don't be afraid to jump in with questions or just share what you're working on, we all started somewhere and nobody knows everything at once, though some people claim they do which I find hilarious because I still get confused by basic concepts half the time. Speaking of being new, I remember my first week joining an online community back in college when everyone was so helpful that it actually made me nervous to post anything meaningful for fear of looking stupid, but then a senior member just replied with 'don't worry about sounding dumb we all did!' which is basically what this thread embodies right now. Anyway the point is you should definitely start posting and asking questions whenever something doesn't make sense because that's how everyone learns here, people love to help out when they can, I once spent like three hours helping a total beginner with their first project over Discord just because it was fun and the payoff of seeing them get excited about what they built is genuinely one of the best feelings in this hobby — there was this kid who made an entire weather station system using old parts he'd found at a garage sale and I still think about that project sometimes. So yeah, welcome! Ask anything you want, don't be shy, we were all beginners once.
Welcome aboard! Always good to see new people join — we're a pretty chill group here, so feel free to jump into any of the discussions and ask whatever questions you have. Hope you find what you're looking for in the community.
Welcome aboard -- genuinely excited to have you here because these communities thrive on new voices bringing different angles and I remember when I joined a similar forum years ago and was so intimidated by how established everyone seemed which is totally normal but honestly this place has been the most useful resource for my actual work over the last few months. Speaking of work there's this one project I'm managing where we need to automate data ingestion from legacy APIs -- it's a mess because each endpoint uses different auth schemes and rate limits that vary by hour which is ridiculous if you think about it -- but anyway my sister actually works at a place with similar infrastructure issues and she told me about this internal tool they built for exactly this purpose which was super helpful. Anyway, welcome to the thread and feel free to ping anyone here with specific questions because we're all pretty responsive on Fridays when things are quieter.
Welcome! Glad you found us -- we're a pretty active group. Hope you enjoy everything here!
