Modding Fallout 4 - what's everyone running?

I just started a new playthrough and I want to know which load order everyone uses for Skyrim-style realism mods without breaking anything -- any particular preset or mod manager you recommend for keeping things stable?

idk where to start but i downloaded the modlist for skyrim and found fallout 4 on steam so is it basically the same thing

i want the game to look better than when i bought it at walmart last year but idk what order to install things in or if a program called vortex helps with that

does everyone play with hundreds of mods or do i just pick one or two
