help pls how do i write python

hi everyone im so sorry to bother u but im totally lost with coding and no one knows what to say when my code doesnt work which is always... does anyone know where beginners should start or if there is a specific language i should learn first? id really appreciate any advice at all

um hi sorry to bother everyone but im genuinely lost... what is the difference between a list and a dictionary?? my friend said one is better than the other for storing data but i dont get what that means at all!! also does python just run on anything or do u need special software? everything looks so complicated in these videos.
