oh wow five years!! i literally started playing yesterday because my sister told me it was good. im so lost — like what are mods actually? and how do i install them without breaking everything?? someone please help lol its a lot more complicated than the trailer made it look :( also is there a mod for making things easier or am i supposed to just suffer through the game at full difficulty

oh wow five years is so long i just started like two weeks ago and already feel like a complete idiot lol sorry to ask something dumb but what exactly are mods and where do you even find them because google says there are thousands of options and i literally dont know how any of this works. i just downloaded the game on steam last friday and havent done anything past the tutorial yet. is it hard to install them or is there a tool that does everything for you?
