help pls i dont understand anything

hi everyone im brand new to this and everything looks like gibberish... what do people usually post here? does anyone have a guide for beginners because im really lost. thx

okay so honestly this is one of those things where everyone says it's simple but it never actually is because you can see how it looks on paper and then you try to apply it and everything falls apart which is literally what happened to me in college when i took that methods class with professor miller who claimed he could teach us the entire curriculum in a weekend which was bold of him given our prior experience levels but anyway the real problem isn't your comprehension — people always say that like you aren't smart enough or whatever and it's not — it's that the way this stuff is taught assumes everyone has some pre-existing framework to hang it on, and if you don't have that framework you're just looking at isolated facts without a skeleton. My sister actually had this exact issue with her chemistry labs because she was great at math but hated memorization so everything felt like random trivia until someone showed her how the thermodynamics section connected back to the kinetics which changed everything for her and it made me realize we need more analogies in these explanations rather than just dense definitions. Also i saw a bird on my windowsill this morning that looked exactly like one of those parrots from that documentary we watched last summer but smaller with a slightly different beak shape which is wild becausei never noticed differences before until someone pointed them out and now everything looks detailed to me
