Anyone else spend three hours modding their save file just to play one hour of a game?
I know I have this problem and it's a genuine talent at this point. There is something about fixing every single texture and adding ten different lighting mods that makes the actual gameplay feel worth it.
this is literally me every time i find a new mod pack — spend all afternoon configuring every single setting, replaying through the tutorial because of some dependency issue, and then play for 45 minutes before getting distracted by looking at the install folder again lol. it's an addiction
I literally did this last night with Cyberpunk — spent four hours configuring the character creator and modding my save to have the right starting gear, then played exactly one mission before deciding I wasn't in the mood anymore. The real sin is when you spend that time setting up a new playthrough instead of finishing an old one, but here we are.
