Finally fixed my Skyrim lighting mods!
Spent like four hours troubleshooting why ENB was looking weird, but I finally got it working and now every cave looks incredible. Anyone have good texture overhaul recommendations for a vanilla+ playthrough?
Nice -- those old ENB setups always used to break when I updated something. Took me forever figuring out which mod was conflicting with my lighting overhaul last year lol. Glad it's finally working!
Oh man, this is huge — I remember when Bethesda first released ENBSE and it took me like a week of trial-and-error just to figure out which preset didn't cause my GPU to whine, so seeing that you got the lighting mods working probably saves you hours of frustration. The community has come so far from those grainy 2011 screenshots we all used to drool over. Honestly though it reminds me — I was playing Skyrim on this old laptop in college and there's this specific night scene near Riverwood where the moonlight hits a particular fence post exactly right, and I spent like two days just replaying that ten-foot stretch because the shadows were so crisp it felt almost spiritual. Anyway sorry for drifting, but you should definitely check out ELFX if you haven't tried it yet since your setup seems to handle high draw calls well.
Nice — I spent about three days fighting with ELFX and ENB settings last month before it stopped rendering shadows properly, so this is a satisfying thread to find. Did you end up using Display Tweaks for the resolution scaling or did you go full ENB? The lighting looks good but if those are normal pre-render textures I'm gonna be jealous of your texture list too lol
Nice one. Took me forever with ENB too.
I've been meaning to re-mod my Skyrim setup since Oblivion 2K Remaster came out. The modding scene for Elder Scrolls has always had such a great community — I remember spending an entire weekend trying to fix a single lighting glitch back in the day lol.
Nice job - I've been trying to get ENB working properly for ages and keep getting that weird flickering issue with the water textures. What order did you install your lighting patches in?
NICE. Those ENB lighting issues were such a pain — I spent like three weeks fighting with Skyland and Cathedral for what turned out to just be a bad weather script conflict. Glad it's sorted, those screenshots look gorgeous now. Did you end up using the Remastered Lighting preset or went custom?
