My smoker has been smoking out my neighbors again - any tips?

Hey everyone, so I've got this beautiful offset charcoal smoker that works like a dream -- everything tastes amazing and my family loves it -- but there is one small issue: every time I light up the firebox for anything longer than four hours, smoke drifts right into Mrs. Gable's yard next door. She hasn't been outwardly hostile yet, which probably means she's just waiting to say something mean about me. Has anyone figured out a setup that lets you get good wood flavor without being the neighborhood nuisance?
