Is anyone still using the old weather mod?

I was digging through my old game files and realized I haven't updated that weather script since like 2018. The new one is a lot more detailed but it breaks some of my lighting presets, so I keep switching back and forth. Has anyone found a balance between both or am I just stuck with the downgrade?
