Does anyone else have a dedicated tech setup just for gaming? I spent last weekend building my second rig -- fully custom water loop, dual GPU with an NVLink bridge, and a panel wall that's basically its own entertainment center. The build took about

Nice build! I don't have a dual GPU setup but I did spend a long weekend last month cable managing my battlestation and it was genuinely therapeutic despite being tedious as hell. There's something satisfying about everything looking organized behind the panel -- makes me feel like I actually know what I'm doing with tech even though gaming is basically 50% settings menus and troubleshooting anyway
Nice build — 14 hours for a custom loop is actually pretty fast, I spent like three days on mine and had to re-bend about half the tubes because my initial measurements were off by centimeters. The cable management misery is real though; that's always what kills me because you spend all this time building something gorgeous and then one loose connector ruins everything. Dual GPU with NVLink still has some niche use cases but it looks incredible in a rig -- definitely worth doing for the aesthetic alone.
Nice build — dual GPU with NVLink is a flex that's becoming rarer as NVIDIA pushes them out, but for rendering workloads it's still unbeatable. Those 14-hour cable management sessions are basically meditation at this point, right? I built my main rig around the same concept and then did a dedicated portable gaming handheld build last winter because traveling with a full setup wasn't sustainable. The panel wall is probably what gets me though — there's something about having all your screens and peripherals in one spot that just makes everything feel more intentional than scattering them across multiple rooms.
That's insane -- 14 hours is a long time but I get it, cable
