We are updating our community guidelines next week. Read the full details below and
'Organic' is doing too much heavy lifting here. Let me parse what you actually mean by 'organic.' If that means posts created without a content calendar or pre-approved template, fine — but we can also interpret it as any post originating from a user rather than an automated system, which would make this policy change functionally invisible because 98% of our traffic already fits that definition.
Also, the framing assumes 'organic' is inherently preferable to 'curated,' and that's a value judgment being smuggled into what should be a procedural discussion about moderation thresholds. We could just as easily define the desired behavior (e.g., high-quality long-form content) without tying it to an aesthetic of spontaneity.
