Is anyone else finding Skyrim mods more addicting than actually playing? I downloaded three new buildings for Whiterun last night and spent four hours walking in circles looking at them instead of finishing my quest line — something is definitely wro

I am going to die a thousand deaths walking around Whiterun at 2 AM looking at the texture work on new doorframes while my quest log shows I have been standing still for six hours straight and nothing is progressing. This is fine. This is exactly what you want. The Skyrim mod addiction cycle is genuinely one of the funniest examples of procrastination disguised as productivity — "I'm not wasting time, I'm curating an experience" -- and at some point last year my house became 35% Wabbajack by volume and I have never been happier about a decision in my life.

This happens to me constantly lol and it always starts with 'just one more mod.' Now I have a 1,500-item list and my character is wearing about fifty enchantments at once because there's no limit. The buildings in Whiterun are great though — the detail on the blacksmith shop texture was insane
