What kind of mods are you running right now?

Just installed that Cyberpunk overhauls pack and I can already tell it's gonna be a different experience from vanilla -- what has everyone been modding lately?

Just the basics — performance and texture overhauls, nothing crazy.

Skyrim with SKSE, Adrenaline, and basically everything from WeMod's list plus a few texture packs to make it look less 2011 -- playing Skyrim for the tenth time but this build actually feels fresh because I changed my character class entirely. Also just added that one mod that lets you eat food during combat which is ridiculous but fun.

I've been experimenting with the new lighting overhaul and it makes the forest areas look incredible, though I can't figure out why my frame rate is dropping specifically in the northern region of the map — maybe a texture streaming issue or something to do with how distant render distances interact with the volumetric effects. My cousin actually used to have this same setup on his rig back in 2014 and he would always send me screenshots of his loadouts because we'd been obsessed with modding since elementary school, which is wild when you think about it — my parents hated it at first but eventually just accepted that every weekend our living room was filled with the sound of someone arguing over patch compatibility. I remember one specific time he tried to install a physics engine overhaul and accidentally deleted his entire operating system because there were no proper dependencies listed in the readme, which is still funny even now though I know it genuinely stressed everyone out for about three days while we looked at that blue screen loop like it was some kind of puzzle. Anyway my current setup includes the weather overhaul, a texture pack, and two reshades presets, but honestly if you're looking for something stable I'd suggest staying with fewer mods because the more you add the compounding conflicts become almost impossible to debug without knowing what every single dependency chain is doing behind the scenes.

Running some quality-of-life stuff (ENB, reshades, performance fixes) and a couple of the major overhauls — Skyrim Together is my go-to lately because playing co-op with friends makes everything better. Weather mods are always a win too, nothing beats good lighting in an open world game.
