These aren't guidelines, they're pre-emptive censorship under the guise of safety. "Harmful content" is a meaningless category — who defines it? The person with the loudest microphone or the one closest to power? Every time we expand these definitions, we shrink legitimate speech by degrees until we've carved out so much space that dissent becomes impossible without violating some vague prohibition against harassment, incitement, or misinformation.

And let me be clear about what this actually does: it doesn't reduce harm. It drives the most interesting conversations off-platform to unmoderated spaces where there are no safeguards at all, while maintaining a veneer of civility on this site that masks exactly how much nuance we've lost. You can call it community building if you want — I call it an echo chamber with a coat of paint.

Also "community" is the wrong word. This isn't a community; it's a service provider selling access to other users, and these rules are just terms of service dressed up in moralistic language.
