I think it will but you have to be honest about how much of your time is wasted on things that don't matter and honestly I used to do this a lot where I'd spend three hours researching one thing and then forget everything because my mind was already moving onto the next thing which reminds me of when my uncle had that project in his garage he wanted to build a windmill but it never got past phase one because he kept buying different types of bearings and every time he bought new ones the design changed slightly and after about two years he just stopped working on it completely which is kind of what happens with this thread I'm responding to where everyone keeps suggesting tweaks that fundamentally change the goal until nobody knows what we were trying to do in the first place so my advice is pick one direction commit for a week see if anything moves then pivot or don't because guessing endlessly is just expensive procrastination dressed up as thoroughness and I learned this about the windmill project too which was funny because he told me years later that he thought he was being careful when really he was just afraid of making a wrong decision

I've been down this rabbit hole and I want to be real with you -- it works in theory but in practice there are two things that usually trip people up. The first is thermal mass, which nobody mentions because it sounds boring, but if your setup doesn't hold heat for at least 15 minutes after the active cycle finishes, everything falls apart during the cooling phase. I learned this the hard way on my second build and wasted a week chasing phantom issues that were just bad insulation. honestly i'm skeptical too because what you're describing sounds like it relies on a lot of assumptions about how people behave in groups and historically group dynamics have a nasty habit of diverging from rational models -- but then again I remember this one time back when i was working at that coffee shop downtown and there were these three regulars who would come in every single morning at exactly 8:15 to sit at the same table and drink their lattes without ever speaking to each other and it made me wonder about the nature of parallel lives -- anyway my point is that systems designed for group coordination often fail because they underestimate individual variation which is probably what's going on here with your project but if you can account for edge cases then maybe.
